Wayne Thompson is an associate and structural engineer at CTL | Thompson with more than 20 years of experience in foundation engineering and structural design/analysis.
He joined CTL | Thompson in 2010 and became a member of its leadership team in 2013. He oversees new and remodel projects in the residential, commercial and small industrial sectors for CTL’s Fort Collins Division while contributing to the overall management and growth of the company.Wayne is a foremost expert in the design and use of helical piles, a certified quality auditor and one of four primary authors of The Design Guide for Helical Piles.
He leads CTL’s structural engineering practice and has extensive experience in the design of deep foundations, multistory structures, bridges, box culverts, columns, beams, roof systems, floor systems, retaining walls, inlet and outlet boxes, flumes, light pole bases and concrete diversion structures. Wayne and his team also provide independent structural construction observations, engineering forensics and structural engineering consultation.
